Had a PB sandwich on wheat last night at 10, and decided it would be my last food until breakfast on Tuesday morning. So, it's a roughly 36-hour fast (I'm allowed 1 cup of milk, and 1 cup of juice), and I'm doing it for two reasons.
1. To prove to myself that I'M in control, not my hunger/urges. I've been giving in to my body's wants (from a food standpoint) too much over the last few weeks. Time it realized who's in charge.
2. Just to clean things out. I don't think 36 hours is going to hurt, and by the time I flush all of the left-over crap outta me (lots of water today, too), I should feel much better, and work up some momentum.
Also, it's 36 degrees outside, with a light mist, and a little bit of wind. We're going to get dressed and go toss the football while the girls sleep. No excuses this time around. Active every day.
